The manual painted wood-carving dragon boat model, made by Mr. Sun Zhifang in Qingdao City of Shandong Province from 1998 to 2010, is 2m in length, 0.45m in width and 0.95m in height, with 3 ancient-looking towers, 310 pillars, 300 movable doors and windows, 500 mythical animal statues, 40 lamps, 18,366 brackets, 5,997 pieces of other components, there are 25,485 wooden components and 1,168 painted golden dragons in all. It has broken the world record of the manual painted wood-carving dragon boat model with the most components as recognized by World Record Association.
