On April 21, 2012, Mr. Shang Lixue from Gangu County, Gansu Province, China, participated in The Fourth Huaxia Wushu Number One Scholar Competition held in Changsha, Hunan with azure dragon crescent blade, and was crown the title of “Chinese Wushu Champion”. With a length of the sword of 2204mm, and a weight of 32.42 kg, it set the world record granted by the World Record Association for being the person who participated in the Wushu contest with the heaviest Wushu sword in the world.
