On July 23, 2011, in a swimming activity called "Boosting Porcelain City’s Love for Yangtze River – the Millennium Ten-thousand-meter Swimming Tour of Changjiang River", Mr. Yu Zhenrong, from Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, China, swam 14300m in Changjiang River. He has broken the world record of the person who swims the longest distance in a river as recognized by World Record Association.
