On February 23^rd, 2012, Mr. Li Keren from Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, China, wrote the character “Long” in Bang script on rice paper at the Taiyun Stadium. With a length of 31.5 meters, a width of 10.8 meters and a total area of 340.2 square meters, it set the world record granted by the World Record Association for being the world’s biggest character “Long” written in Bang script on rice paper.
