From May, 2010 to November, 2010, Mr. Ximing Song from Dalian in Liaoning Province, adopted ivory and created miniature engraving of "The Great Learning" with a total of 1748 characters , each character of 0.0625 square millimeters and total area of 1.0925 square centimeters, which has created the world record of the smallest miniature engraving "The Great Learning" in the world as recognized by World Record Association.
